Position: HGV Class 1 Container Nights
Location: Leeds (LS10)
Drivers Plus is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing contracts in the Leeds area. Our client has a contract for an ongoing driver for the right candidate. Drivers do require container experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport containers to various Ports/Iports or shunting.

Drops around 1 - 3 a shift if trunking to ports or Iports.

Follow planned routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Carrying out daily walkround checks, following WTD and Driver hour rules.

Downloading Tachograph card after every shift.

Shift Options:

Night work

16:00 - 19:00 starts

Monday to Friday with Weekend opportunities

12 hour shifts

Compensation:

Competitive pay rates for PAYE drivers, ranging from £16.40 to £18.50 per hour.

Drivers Pay £1 pound a shift for insurance contribution

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 Licence

CPC certification

Digital Tachograph Card

No major points or endorsements on driving record

Strong timekeeping skills

Excellent work ethic and team player mentality

Flexibility when required
