Position: HGV Class 1 Container Days and Nights

Location: WF9
Drivers Plus is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Day and Nights Drivers for ongoing contracts in the WF9 area for a Container Position. Our client has a contract for an ongoing driver for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Class 1 Days doing drop and swaps on both days and nights, No handball involved.

Follow planned routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Carrying out daily walkround checks, following WTD and Driver hour rules.

Downloading Tachograph card after every shift.

Shift Options:

Day and nights work

05:00am starts on days, 18:00 starts on Nights

Monday to Friday

12 hour shifts

Compensation:

Competitive pay rates for PAYE drivers, ranging from £15.50 to £19 per hour.

Drivers Pay £1 pound a shift for insurance contribution

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 Licence with 2 years of experience.

Container experience

CPC certification

Digital Tachograph Card

No major points or endorsements on driving record

Strong timekeeping skills

Excellent work ethic and team player mentality

Flexibility when required

Checkable work history
