Healthcare Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment and providing patient support.

Your role will involve working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. This is a 40 hour per week position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in patient preparation
• Chaperoning patients
• Assisting with cannulation
• Positioning patients on the scanner
• Clinical stock management
• Clinical audits
• Processing patients via our E Systems

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong IT and administration skills
• Ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols
• Excellent patient care skills and a compassionate attitude
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work accurately under pressure
