We are seeking a dynamic and experienced strategic leader to provide system wide leadership and direction for health improvement and inequalities within Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
The Health Improvement and Inequalities Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Health Improvement Team, with a clear focus on reducing health inequalities.
The post holder will lead the development and delivery of long term, population level approaches, ensuring alignment with national and local priorities and effective partnership working across NHS, local authority and community planning partners.
The role includes responsibility for strategy development, performance and programme management, workforce leadership, and influencing policy implementation across a complex system.
Person requirements:- Degree qualified, with Masters level qualification in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Significant management and leadership experience within NHS or public sector, including working at a strategic level and influencing across organisational boundaries
- Experience of leading partnership working and managing organisational change within complex systems
- Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at senior level
- Ability to manage complexity, competing priorities and deliver across a broad portfolio
- Knowledge of health improvement, inequalities and the wider public health policy context
