Headteacher

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Headteacher to lead an inclusive, values driven school at an exciting stage of development. This is a rare opportunity to provide strategic leadership that ensures excellent learning experiences and outcomes for all pupils while building on established strengths and shaping the school's future direction.

Our school is committed to a nurturing environment where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We value collaboration, high expectations, innovation, and a relentless focus on improving learning outcomes for all learners.

Responsibilities
  • Set and articulate a bold vision for the school, inspiring staff, pupils, families, governors, and the wider community to share and deliver that vision.
  • Provide professional leadership that builds on the school's successes and continually improves teaching, learning, and pupil achievement.
  • Ensure a deep culture of inclusion, high expectations, and personalised support that responds effectively to the needs of all pupils.
  • Lead and empower all staff to deliver outstanding educational experiences, fostering professional growth and a strong teamwork ethos.
  • Oversee the implementation and evaluation of high-quality learning programmes, curriculum development, assessment systems, and pupil progress tracking.
  • Champion pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and behaviour systems that promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment for everyone.
  • Manage resources effectively, including staffing, budgets, and physical resources, to meet strategic priorities.
Who We Are Looking For
  • A proven track record of leadership and impact in a school or educational setting, with experience of senior leadership responsibility.
  • Be an inspirational leader who leads with integrity, compassion, and resilience.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of current educational priorities and statutory requirements, including curriculum design, assessment, and inclusion.
  • Be committed to promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning, with evidence of driving improvement.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive and effective relationships across the school community.
Benefits
  • A supportive and ambitious governing body and leadership team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and collaboration with partners.
  • A rewarding leadership role shaping the educational experiences of all pupils.

If you are a motivated and strategic leader committed to excellence and inclusion, we would love to hear from you.
