The vacancy

Location: This role will be based in Unite's Central Office in Holborn

Reports to: Director of Finance

Salary: Grade 11 - £83,987.00 per annum full time. Plus £5159.00 per annum London Allowance (Rising to £89,864.00 per annum full time after 12 months in post)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time, 34 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: Mon to Thurs (9am to 5pm) Friday (9am to 4pm)

Benefits: 36 Days Annual Leave, Annual Wellbeing Allowance, Pension Scheme

The union is seeking a qualified Head of Management Accounting to lead its management accounting function, delivering timely management accounts, budgets and forecasts, strengthening compliance, and acting as a senior finance business partner.

This role is being advertised internally and externally and individuals who can meet the requirements set out are invited to apply. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage a dedicated team and work closely with banking and investment stakeholders. Candidates must be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with substantial senior finance experience in a complex, member-led environment.
