I am delighted to be supporting a secondary school in Redbridge as they look to appoint a Head of History with the drive and vision to lead a subject that plays a vital role in students' wider understanding of the world.

This role is ideal for an experienced History teacher with a minimum of three years in the classroom, who is ready to step into or continue in a middle leadership role. You will be responsible for curriculum design, outcomes across key stages, and developing a coherent and ambitious history offer.

The school encourages subject leaders to think deeply about curriculum intent and implementation, ensuring students build strong historical knowledge, disciplinary skills, and curiosity. There is genuine respect for subject expertise and thoughtful leadership.
