Guest Services Room Attendant

In a modern and stylish hotel located in the heart of Blackpool, just moments from the seafront, Winter Gardens and town centre, a Guest Services Room Attendant will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences in a fast paced environment. The role involves welcoming guests, crafting locally inspired cocktails, and creating standout dining experiences, all while ensuring every guest's stay is smooth and enjoyable.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICES ROOM ATTENDANT AT THE HOLIDAY INN BLACKPOOL

• Keep guest rooms and public areas spotless and welcoming, creating a comfortable space guests love to return to
• Clean, dust, vacuum, and polish with an eye for detail, making sure every room is guest ready
• Change linens, make beds, and refresh towels, keeping everything looking fresh and inviting
• Replenish in room amenities, from toiletries to tea and coffee, ensuring guests have everything they need
• Report any maintenance issues or missing items promptly to keep rooms in top shape
• Follow health, safety and cleanliness standards, helping maintain a safe environment for guests and team members
• Support with special requests, like setting up extra beds or delivering extra amenities, going the extra mile to make each stay memorable
• Work closely with other departments, especially the front desk and maintenance, to deliver a seamless guest experience

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with other team members and respond to guest needs
• The ability to work efficiently, staying organised and focused during busy shifts
