Group Credit Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Group Credit Controller to join the Swansway Family.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will supervise and support our Credit control team with Looking after the Credit control function across all group Dealerships.

As Group Credit Controller, you will be responsible for supporting, coaching and developing the wider credit control team. Building and maintaining positive and lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, key Stake holders and internal operations.

Due to the nature of this role, the chosen individual should hold a full UK driving licence.

The position can be stationed at - Crewe, Stoke, Stafford or Chester. The role will require addition travel to all North and Lancashire Dealerships on request.

• Supporting Credit controllers across various Dealership sites.
• Manage customer accounts and business accounts.
• Reduce debt and recover late payments via email, telephone or letter.
• Issue credit limits and work with main Dealerships to ensure of eligibility.
• Sign off payment plans and suspend customer accounts.
• Identify customer accounts that present risk.
• Assist with credit reports and approval of credit terms.
• Ensure team members follow business processes.
• Overseeing the processing of late payments and chasing outstanding debts.
• Maintain and building strong professional relationships with other departments
• (Sales, Service, Parts, Bodyshop, etc.).
• Managing month-end reporting and mitigating payment issues.
• Present accurate and concise reporting and data to senior management and the board.

Experience of multi-site organisation.

Previous credit control experience.

Management of credit control function

Strong debt recovery experience.

Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and listening.

Excellent computer skills - including Power Point and Excel.

Advantageous but not essential

Motor vehicle or automotive industry experience.

Desirable system experience - Keyloop, Kerridge or similar.
