Groundworks Foreman

Our client is looking for a Groundworks Foreman to work at a location in Christchurch

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising groundworks operatives on site
• Coordinating daily site activities, labour, and materials
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
• Overseeing a range of groundworks tasks including drainage, foundations, and external works
• Maintaining and enforcing health & safety standards on site
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other trades
• Completing basic site paperwork and reporting progress

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman
• Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering projects
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• Valid CSCS Card
• First Aid (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands on when required
• Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering quality work
