Job Description
Our client is looking for a Groundworks Foreman to work at a location in Christchurch
Key Responsibilities- Supervising groundworks operatives on site
- Coordinating daily site activities, labour, and materials
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
- Overseeing a range of groundworks tasks including drainage, foundations, and external works
- Maintaining and enforcing health & safety standards on site
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other trades
- Completing basic site paperwork and reporting progress
- Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman
- Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering projects
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- Valid CSCS Card
- First Aid (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to lead a team while remaining hands on when required
- Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering quality work
