Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook grilled food items to a high standard, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Operate and maintain grill equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare ingredients, including marinating meats, portioning food, and preparing sauces.
  • Monitor food cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and food hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ordering supplies.
  • Minimise food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Ensure customer dietary requirements and allergy information are followed.
Working Hours Requirement
  • Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday as part of the regular working schedule.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, bank holidays, and additional shifts when required by the business.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience working as a Grill Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Knowledge of grilling techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
