Grain Dryer Operator

Position: Grain Dryer Operator

Location: Alford, Lincolnshire

Duration: 6th July 2026 - September 2026

Responsibilities

• Running the 10,000 tonne central grain store using a JCB Loadall telehandler.
• Managing all grain entering the farm, including operating a modern 30t/hr Sveg continuous flow dryer.
• General farm work such as grain store cleaning, machinery maintenance, mowing with front and rear flail mowers, hedge cutting, and Cambridge rolling.

Requirements

• Previous grain-handling experience is beneficial; training can be provided.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Telehandler certificate essential; training can be provided.
• Available for autumn general farm work.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Positive, friendly, and motivated attitude.
• Evidence of right to work in the UK must be shown.
