Job Description
Position: Grain Dryer Operator
Location: Alford, Lincolnshire
Duration: 6th July 2026 - September 2026
Responsibilities- Running the 10,000 tonne central grain store using a JCB Loadall telehandler.
- Managing all grain entering the farm, including operating a modern 30t/hr Sveg continuous flow dryer.
- General farm work such as grain store cleaning, machinery maintenance, mowing with front and rear flail mowers, hedge cutting, and Cambridge rolling.
- Previous grain-handling experience is beneficial; training can be provided.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Telehandler certificate essential; training can be provided.
- Available for autumn general farm work.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Positive, friendly, and motivated attitude.
- Evidence of right to work in the UK must be shown.
