Graduate Controls Engineer - West Yorkshire - £25-28k + bonus + enhanced pension contribution

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Graduate Controls Engineer with PLC programming experience to join a well-established & growing engineering business in West Yorkshire. The successful Graduate Controls Engineer will have some knowledge of programming PLCs and be keen to learn and develop into a seasoned Controls Engineer.

The company has a clearly defined 3 year program where you'll cover a range of different disciplines including panel wiring & testing and software development and integration.

Responsibilities

Key aspects of the Graduate Controls Engineer role include the following foundational elements and development opportunities during the 3-year program:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and circuit analysis
• Knowledge of PLC programming concepts and industrial communication protocols
• Familiarity with electrical drafting software and engineering design principles
• Understanding of process control theory and instrumentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to travel for project commissioning and customer support
• Full UK Driving Licence
