GP Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity in our busy reception teamon a part-time basis. We are looking forsomeone for 20 hours per week - Monday 8am - 12.30, Tuesday 7am - 6pm (includes 1/2hr unpaid lunch) and Wednesday 7am to 12noon. This is avaried and demanding role providing services to patients at first point of contactwith the practice, supporting the clinicians as well as the wider practiceteam. This is a role that continues todevelop and is essential to the practice. The role involves dealing withpatients over the phone and in person as well as associated administration.
Main duties of the jobWe are looking for candidates ideally with previousexperience of working at a GP surgery in a reception setting and ideally usedSystmOne IT system. The candidate willneed to be flexible, empathetic and have great communication and IT skills.
About usMeasham Medical Unit is a friendly, well-established and supportive GP practice based on the outskirts of North West Leicestershire, providing services to patient in North West Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire we have 16038 patients registered with us.
Job responsibilitiesTo be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties including but not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments using a variety of methods including our AI triage system. This is a varied and demanding role providing services to patients and being the first point of contact.
Person Specification Experience- Experience of working in a GP Surgery in a reception setting or have reception experience and ideally will have used SystmOne IT system.
- Experience of working with the general public.
- Ideally will have used SystmOne IT system
- experience of administrative duties
- Educated to GCSE level A to C or equivalent including Maths and English
