GP Reception Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated GP Reception Manager, with the ability to lead a growing reception and administration team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of patient care.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our clinic's, reception, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care within a GP setting.
You will also have the support of a reception supervisor in the role.
Main duties of the job1. Reception Management:
- Supervise reception staff to ensure a welcoming and efficient front desk environment.
- Oversee patient appointment scheduling, check-in/out procedures, and phone call management.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by patients or visitors in a timely and professional manner.
2. Administrative Operations:
- Develop and implement streamlined administrative procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilise EMIS for running reports and managing patient records.
- Utilise phone systems for efficient communication and coordination.
- Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facilities to support daily clinic operations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management, including patient records and administrative documents.

- Previous management experience in reception and administrative roles, in a GP surgery setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team.
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office software, EMIS, and phone systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
