Global R&D Packaging Development Specialist

Adecco Italia SpA, for a Multinational Company based in Italy, is looking for a:

Global R&D Packaging Development Specialist

The position will play a crucial role in supporting the Global R&D Team and you will be responsible for leading packaging development and innovation initiatives, managing multiple project in dynamic and multinational environment.

Main Activities:

• Analysis of the project briefs in the PLM platform;
• Scouting of Innovative Packaging solutions;
• Definition of primary packaging alternatives in partnership with suppliers, in order to have support for developments;
• Shelf life tests on the Primary Packaging;
• Definition of secondary packaging and end of line (shipper, pallet plan, etc.);
• Samples preparation and cost evaluation;
• Coordinate the execution of the New Product Developments and sustainable projects pipeline across the manufacturing countries;
• Guarantee the implementation if the projects in collaboration with interfunctional team;
• Technical sheet and packaging specification preparation.

Requirements:

• Education: Master Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or similar;
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role;
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of packaging development preferably in Food Industry;
• Language: Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish is nice to have;
• Avalilability to travel;
• Good knowledge of circular economy principles;
• Ability to lead multiple projects.
