We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Head of Product - Digital Authentication. Digital Authentication and Identity (DA&I) is the team within HSBC responsible for safeguarding our customers across the entire digital estate. As part of the Digital Platforms function, DA&I's mission is to enhance security and user experience by ensuring seamless access for legitimate users while effectively deterring unauthorized activity across our mobile, web and staff digital channels. As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in advancing HSBC's digital security strategy. You will lead a team of Product Owners, fostering innovation and excellence in digital authentication and identity solutions, with a particular emphasis on the continued development and optimisation of our Digital Security Platform (DSP).

Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Strategy and Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of digital authentication and identity products, from vision and strategy through to delivery, ensuring alignment with HSBC's security objectives and quality standards.
  • Drive Innovation and Market Differentiation: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, ensuring our solutions remain competitive and compliant with local and global regulations.
  • Empower and Develop Teams: Lead, mentor and inspire a diverse team of Product Owners, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture within the Digital Authentication value stream.
  • Engage Stakeholders and Align Goals: Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to gather insights, align on goals and ensure products meet both business and customer needs.
  • Monitor Performance and Manage Risk: Establish and track Key Performance Indicators to measure product success, drive continuous improvement, and proactively identify and mitigate risks in line with HSBC's policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in Digital Authentication, Identity & Security technologies is critical. Must also have prior experience in development and commercialisation of new products across global markets and digital platforms.
  • Proven track record in product management, including digital product delivery, agile methodologies and product portfolio management.
  • Skilled at collaborating with dispersed, cross-functional teams within an agile environment.
  • Comfortable with leading market research initiatives, driving product innovation and translating insights into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Strong strategic leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Location and Working Arrangement

This is a hybrid working role with the base location as London.
