General Neurologist - New England Neurological Associates - Chelmsford, MA

Overview

New England Neurological Associates, P.C. (NENA), now part of Tufts Medicine and Lowell General Hospital since 2024, is a multidisciplinary neuroscience practice founded in 1969. We are seeking a General Neurologist for our Chelmsford and Westford, MA locations. Subspecialty interests for this role include cognitive/memory care. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with a team of 28 other NENA physicians and advanced practice clinicians across the NENA system. You will build meaningful relationships within NENA, with community partners, hospitalists, other specialties, and the broader community.

NENA operates five locations throughout the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, staffed by neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management physicians, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, and support personnel. In this role as a General Neurologist, you will serve the culturally diverse communities in the suburbs of Lowell, MA. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity for continuity of care within a single practice, with flexible scheduling to allow documentation time within the workday.

• The incoming Neurologist will have a full-time schedule, typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Call is shared among the greater NENA team and is generally 1:5.
• Collaboration, collegiality, and flexibility are core to NENA's practice, enabling call schedules tailored to incumbents. Call is shared among the greater NENA team and is generally 1:5.
• Each specialty has a secretary team to assist with scheduling, rooming, and triage. Medical assistants are also available.
• Within NENA there are 14 neurology providers (Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians) caring for patients across the Merrimack Valley. Subspecialties include stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular, movement disorders, migraine (BOTOX), and neuroimmunology.

Requirements

• Passionate about neuroscience and a team player who works cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction.
• Currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain licenses in these states.
• Open to General Neurology or sub specialization.
