Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands on General Manager to lead an exciting staff dining and café operation with huge potential for growth. Managing a team of 12, you will oversee both the daily food service operation and hospitality delivery, ensuring exceptional standards, strong financial performance, and an outstanding customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys developing people and building strong client relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead an established team, creating a positive and high performing culture
  • Oversee the daily running of the staff dining and café operation, including hospitality services
  • Remain hands on within the operation, supporting service and leading by example
  • Ensure consistently high food, service, and presentation standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and operational administration
  • Work closely with culinary teams to deliver exciting and engaging food offers
  • Take full accountability for the site's P&L performance and financial targets
  • Identify opportunities to grow and develop the operation

  • Previous experience managing a staff dining/café operation
  • A strong leader with excellent people management and development skills
  • A confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
  • Hands on approach with a passion for service excellence
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and financial performance
