This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the South West Thames Renal and Transplant Division based at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing day to day functional management of the division across its geography, supporting the Divisional Director of Operations on both an operational and strategic basis, delivering service improvement, integration, and project implementation. The post holder must have a working knowledge of all services within the division, associated performance metrics and key issues affecting the division.
The post holder will function as part of the senior management team for the division and will participate on the Trust's senior management on call rota and deputise for the DDO.
Main Duties of the Job- Delivery of operational and quality, performance and finance standards.
- Optimisation of the patient pathway, ensuring that patients are streamed to the most appropriate pathway for their care needs.
- Identification and development of new pathways of care in conjunction with clinical leads.
- Development of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further enhance the patient pathway.
- Supporting both sites to achieve optimal staffing levels, particularly in relation to medical staffing.
- Graduate level or equivalent academic or healthcare professional qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Masters degree or doctorate in management.
- Experience of budget and operational performance management.
- Senior operational management experience including significant budget and staff management.
- Health service sector experience.
- Experience of working across organisational boundaries.
- Evidence of ability to lead successful change.
- Highly developed leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to facilitate change, including deployment of service modernisation techniques.

Salary: £85,641 to £97,746 a year including HCAS Outer pro rata.
