Gardener Required Part Time Bexhill

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Gardener to join our team. This is a Part time PAYE position offering job security, consistent work, and the opportunity to take pride in maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general grounds maintenance duties including: Grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, and leaf clearance; Weeding, planting, pruning, and mulching
• General site tidiness
• Maintenance of flower beds, shrub borders, and green spaces
• Operate and maintain machinery such as mowers, strimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters
• Undertake soft landscaping and minor hard landscaping tasks as required
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order
• Work as part of a team to meet schedules and deadlines
• Follow health and safety policies and report any site issues or hazards
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and the public

Requirements

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely and effectively
• Good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid Full UK driving licence with no claims or points

Desirable

• PA1/PA6 pesticide spraying certificates
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Horticulture, Landscaping, or related discipline
• Experience working on commercial or local authority contractsExperience working in residential private gardens
• Knowledge of plants and diseases
