Gardener- Grounds - Garden Maintenance

McIntyre Ground Management is looking for a skilled person to join our gardening and grounds maintenance team, based near Echt.

This is a full time position based on 40 hours a week in summer and 37.5 in winter.

The successful candidate will work in a team maintaining a wide variety of private and commercial sites in and around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

The person will have previous commercial gardening experience and be able to work to a very high standard.

A full driving licence is mandatory and experience towing trailers desirable.

PA 1 & 6 is desirable.

Main summer duties will be;

-Mowing grass (pedestrian & ride-on)

-Strimming grass edges

- Herbicide application

-General gardening work

- General estate work (fencing repairs, property repairs)

Main winter duties will be;

-Pruning shrubs and hedges

- Leaf collection

- Gritting duties on a rota basis

We are a small friendly team, working to high standards with a great deal of pride taken in the sites we look after. The candidate should be able to work to high standards, take pride in their work, have good timekeeping and enjoy outdoor working. In return a good rate of pay and conditions are offered, with pay reflecting experience.

A full clean driving license is required, a company vehicle may be available after a probationary period of time.
