Garden volunteer
Posted 50 minutes 17 seconds ago by Jewish Volunteering Network
Last year we set up a gardening and food growing club in our beautiful garden space in Golders Green. This is a space for people to connect, learn more about food growing and living more sustainably. We use the produce from the garden for garden to plate cookery sessions and our community dinners. So far the garden club meets on Sundays (morning or afternoons), every 2 weeks, and attracts around 6-10 volunteers of all ages.
Responsibilities- Support the lead garden volunteer facilitator with garden planning.
- Help deliver gardening and food growing sessions.
- Assist with watering during the summer months.
- Experience with gardening and food growing.
- Willingness to volunteer in a community setting; no prior gardening experience is acceptable for those who want to join watering duties.
