Front of House Team Member - Receptionist

Wakefield Gym - Permanent, Part time - 16 hours per week, up to £26,707.20 pro rata per annum depending on experience.

Making a great first impression is essential. Join our team and greet members and visitors with confidence, empathy and excellent customer care. You will communicate face to face and over the phone, displaying initiative, flexibility and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and efficient customer service to all visitors.
• Support the smooth running of the reception and café areas.
• Create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment.
• Answer queries in a caring and helpful way, welcoming everyone.
• Assist the café team with preparing and serving fresh, healthy and nutritional food and drinks.
• Meet high swimming standards and be willing to undergo on site training to cover lifeguard breaks.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Confidence and empathy when interacting with diverse customers.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and by phone.
• Initiative, flexibility and motivation to meet operational needs.
