Job Description
Food Production Operatives (Bakery)

We are currently recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives (Bakery) for one of our well-established Client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Main Duties
  • Supporting with bread and rolls production
  • Slicing, stacking, and packing products
  • Working on the production line
  • Operating machinery such as bread slicers
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards
Shifts

The role involves rotating across all three shifts.

  • AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
  • PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Sunday to Friday)
  • Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Sunday to Friday)

8 hour shifts, 20 minute unpaid break, working 5-6 days per week, approx. 40 hours per week.

£12.21/hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Baking a variety of Polish breads and confectionery items
  • Assisting on the production line
  • Operating bakery machinery
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a baker or within a food production environment (overseas experience is welcome)
  • Ability to carry out heavy lifting
  • Good understanding of food hygiene standards
