Financial Accountant Equine Industry

Your New CompanyA unique opportunity to join a well-renowned, international horse breeding company as an Accountant. This role will report directly into the FD, which is based in Central London, and can be offered on a full-time or part-time (3 days) basis. This role needs an experienced accountant who has either got industry experience within the Equine or Horse Racing industry, or has a passion and knowledge of the sector. Your New RoleReporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the day-to-day finance operations
• Financial & management reporting
• Producing the P&L for multiple regions
• Oversee AP/AR
• Purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing, bank reconciliations, payroll journals & expenses
• Assist with year-end accounts preparation
• Monthly stock valuations
• VAT
• Finance process improvement
• Ad hoc projects

What You'll Need to SucceedYou must either come from the Equine / Horse Breeding / Horse Racing sector OR have a passion for and knowledge of the industry. Proven accounting experience is needed for this role, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE.
