Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Fee Earner to join our growing and supportive family law team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional who is confident managing their own caseload and providing high-quality legal services to clients during sensitive and often challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
• Advising clients on matters including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and separation
• Preparing legal documents, applications, and correspondence
• Attending client meetings and providing clear, practical legal advice
• Representing clients in negotiations and liaising with barristers, courts, and other professionals
• Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures
• Delivering a high level of client care throughout the process

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling a family law caseload
• Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner considered
• Strong knowledge of private family law procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines
• A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with clients
