Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an Excel Expert - Compliance Systems Analyst to support the operation of business-critical compliance applications within a fast-paced professional services environment. This role focuses on second-line support, system administration, and troubleshooting across a portfolio of compliance platforms.

You will work closely with Compliance, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure systems are reliable, well-maintained, and optimised for business use. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong application support experience who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line application support for a suite of Compliance systems.

  • Manage incidents and service requests through an ITSM platform (eg ServiceNow).

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple SaaS platforms.

  • Maintain system configurations including user access, permissions, and reference data tables.

  • Raise and manage support tickets with external vendors, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Support system upgrades, testing, and deployments alongside internal technology teams.

  • Produce reports and operational metrics for the Compliance function.

  • Maintain clear documentation of procedures, issues, and system changes.

Skills & Experience

  • Expert knowledge of Excel and/or Power BI is key

  • Experience supporting business-critical applications (compliance, legal, or risk systems preferred).

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS and on-premise support models.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and external escalations.

  • Experience with Intake & Conflicts systems (eg Intapp) or workflow tools such as Power Automate.
