Full-time: 35 hours per week
Salary range: £38,856 per annum inclusive of London Allowance
Contract type: Fixed-term 8 months commencing 1 Sept 2025
Hybrid work: available with at least 3 days in the Academy
The Royal Academy of Music is one of the world's leading conservatoires. The Estates department is responsible for the safe operation of all property under the Academy portfolio. We are a small but busy team focused on delivering the best customer service.
This temporary position will be an 8-month fixed-term contract. You will work with both the Estates team and the wider SMT for the management and completion of all designated projects from design and build, JCT and smaller independent projects from preparation through to completion stages whilst always ensuring and protecting the Academy's position in respect of cost, value for money, compliance, statutory building regulations and H&S. The Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of projects within the organisation. The Project Manager also serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitates communication between team members, and coordinates resources to achieve project objectives. Additionally, the Project Manager is tasked with identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
We are looking for a collaborative team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with stakeholders and contractors on all levels. Our ideal candidate would be AutoCAD proficient and have a good understanding of structural drawing and M&E Schematics.
