Job Description
Job Summary

Teach South seeks an English Teacher for a secondary school in Poole. This temporary, part time position (three days weekly) runs from September until the Christmas break, with a daily rate of £160 to £240. It is suitable for an experienced educator desiring flexibility or for an Early Career Teacher looking to refine their practice within a supportive department.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that foster a lasting appreciation of literature and language, maintaining high expectations for themselves and their students. They will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced applicant. They will join a collaborative department where staff work closely together to share ideas, develop resources and support one another.

Qualifications
  • Qualified teacher with the ability to teach English to a high standard.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English.
  • Ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong organisational skills.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team.
