Class 1 Driver - Widnes (Trunking / Multidrop)

Pay

£16.98 - £20.55 per hour (varies by shift time)

Hours and Shifts

Temporary role, hour shifts, start times between 12:00 pm and 12:00 am. Shift patterns:

• Day shifts: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday
• PM shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday

Location

Widnes site - north west England. Deliveries include the Northwest and Cumbria, in addition to the client's sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multidrop deliveries, typically carrying out 1-6 drops per shift.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with business and VOSA standards.
• Unload trailers at each drop, secure load, and ensure roll cages are positioned correctly.
• Complete and sign off all paperwork before leaving each site.
• Perform vehicle checks to verify roadworthiness and secure load correctly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence (no more than six penalty points; DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements prohibited).
• Digital tachograph card.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Experience with multidrop delivery and good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Must pass a driving assessment (theory and practical) with the client.
• Positive, can do attitude.
