We are currently recruiting a Lead Engineer HVAP to join our team in Fareham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, critical environment where your expertise will directly impact the performance and reliability of our clients' operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and allocating tasks to engineering team members
- Managing costs related to maintenance activities
- Ensuring critical systems (data centres, computer rooms, etc.) meet SLAs
- Operating change control and dilapidation plans
- Providing technical reports and emergency response support
- Monitoring utilities and environmental programmes
- Supporting audits and statutory compliance
- Liaising with EHS specialists to ensure safety and compliance
- Escalating urgent issues and maintaining documentation
- Qualified Electrician (Apprenticeship, HND, C&G)
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations - Essential
- Experience in data centres/critical environments - Desirable
- Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and environmental monitoring
- IOSH or equivalent H&S training
- Excellent communication and supplier management skills
- Experience with BMS Controls, HVAC, UPS, and Critical Cooling - Desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office and documentation systems
