They are seeking a Shopware System Administrator to take ownership of the platform's configuration, stability, and optimisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Product Lead, as well as sales and commercial teams, to ensure the Shopware environment delivers a smooth, secure, and high-performing experience for both customers and internal colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
-

Technical administration:
Manage day-to-day operations of the platform, including integrations, plugins, permissions, and data flow between systems. -

Monitor and analyse platform performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements proactively. -
Security and compliance:
Safeguard customer data and ensure adherence to relevant security standards and GDPR requirements. -
Updates and maintenance:
Oversee software updates, plugin maintenance, and system patches. Coordinate with external vendors as required. -
Troubleshooting and support:
Act as a key escalation point for technical issues, collaborating with both internal users and third-party partners to resolve incidents quickly. -
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Digital Product Lead, as well as sales and commercial teams, to align platform performance with business goals and provide internal support for new features or configurations.

Strong Shopware experience - ideally hands-on with setup, configuration, and performance tuning.
-
Understanding of Shopware-specific configuration and data structures.
-
Technical background in server management, networking, and database administration (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with non-technical colleagues - must be colleague-facing, with clear communication skills.

-
Experience with SaaS environments and third-party vendor coordination is an advantage.
-
Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
