A leading regional Legal 500 commercial law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its Milton Keynes office. Acting for an impressive client base ranging from SMEs and owner managed businesses to national companies and senior executives, you'll advise on a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters within a supportive, collaborative and commercially focused environment.

This role offers a mix between contentious and non contentious employment work, advising both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters.

• Drafting employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks
• Advising employers on day to day HR and employment law issues
• Settlement agreements and negotiated exits
• Employment Tribunal litigation
• Redundancies, restructures and disciplinary matters
• TUPE advice and employment support on corporate transactions
• Supporting business development initiatives, networking and client training

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical expertise while developing your own profile within a thriving commercial practice.

• Around 2-6 years' PQE
• Experience handling both contentious and non contentious employment matters
• Exposure to Employment Tribunal work
• Strong drafting and client management skills
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
• An interest in business development and growing client relationships
