Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Advise employers on day-to-day employment law issues, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
  • Manage Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion
  • Draft and advise on contracts of employment, settlement agreements, policies and procedures
  • Advise on redundancies, restructures and TUPE matters
  • Provide clear, commercial and pragmatic advice to clients
  • Support corporate transactions and wider commercial matters as required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
  • Contribute to business development and market positioning
  • Deliver internal and external training sessions as required
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 4+ years' PQE with strong experience in employment law
  • Proven experience advising employers on a wide range of employment matters
  • Confident managing your own caseload and complex matters independently
  • Strong Employment Tribunal experience
  • Excellent drafting skills and technical knowledge
  • Commercially aware with strong communication skills
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • Keen to contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the team
