THE FIRM

THE ROLE
Within the Employment team, a growing, market-leading team with an international focus, is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join on a 6-month FTC basis.
While workloads will vary, you will typically spend around 80% of your time on contentious and advisory work and 20% on transactional support.
Typical work includes:
- Contentious Advice
- Senior exits and settlement agreements
- Restrictive covenants breaches, planning team moves
- Other contentious advice (e.g., grievances and disciplinaries)
- Other Advisory
- Change projects (e.g., redundancy and TUPE processes)
- Contracts, bonus schemes, and handbooks
- Business immigration
- Other ad hoc advice (e.g., gender pay gap reporting, holiday pay, furlough)
- Disputes
- Tribunal litigation (e.g., unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination)
- High court litigation (e.g., team moves, bonus claims)
- Investigations
- Strike ballots and union activities
- Training and Horizon Scanning
- Cross Departmental and/or Transactional Support
- Corporate: deals, investee company exits, IPOs
- Commercial: outsourcings, GDPR
- Real Estate: TUPE issues
- High court litigation (e.g., team moves, bonus claims)
ABOUT YOU
An adaptable Employment lawyer with approximately 3-6 years PQE, with outstanding academic credentials, capable of advising on all aspects of Employment law.
