As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities- Support the execution of embedded Payments Technology strategic priorities by collaborating closely with business leads across our key stakeholders (Product, Implementations, Testing, Site Reliability Engineers, partner groups in Payments Technology, Finance and Business Management)
- Develop executive presentations and messaging for internal audiences (e.g., Quarterly & Monthly Reviews, Governance meetings, business updates, Teams Channel, Monthly Newsletter); facilitate transparent and effective communication across the organization
- Shape external-facing narratives with strong analytic support and product knowledge
- Manage and coordinate regular engagements on Embedded Payments' priorities between the key stakeholders
- Oversee daily operations, streamline workflows, and manage key business processes
- Drive business reporting ensuring operational excellence; identify insights and make meaningful recommendations as needed
- Lead execution of employee communication and engagement initiatives (e.g., regular All Hands meetings, Weekly Directs meetings, Leadership offsites, Community engagement); encourage support for Diversity, Opportunity, and inclusion initiatives
- Tackle complex business problems with limited definition, uncover root causes, develop solutions, and translate into specific recommendations for action
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution of key objectives
- Serve as delegate and represent the Embedded Payments CBT as needed for governance related matters
- Serve as a manager for some of the software engineer teams in location
- Proven experience in executive/leadership communications and business reporting, translating strategies to execution plans
- Excellent writing skills, ability to storyboard and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; proficient in managing competing priorities and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Intellectually curious with entrepreneurial attitude and a results-driven mindset
- Ability to influence with authority - anticipate and proactively address issues that may arise
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals at all levels
- Experience managing staff using direct and indirect reporting lines
- Experience working in a software engineering delivery role using agile methodologies
- Experience in financial services and digital payments with an understanding of industry trends is a plus
- Experience with Embedded Finance, cross border payments, SME and Corporates client segments is a strong plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff or similar leadership role, ideally in a technology or AI-driven organization
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data and AI tools for decision-making
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing priorities
