What You Will Do
The Industrial Refrigeration Installation team in Dordrecht is responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems. This work is carried out by a team of approximately 35 professionals.

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will contribute to our installation projects by designing the electrical systems of state-of-the-art refrigeration units used in industrial settings, various production processes, and onboard marine vessels. You will work on projects ranging from simple to highly complex.

The rapid development of our refrigeration systems brings new technologies and increasing integration with other systems. The demand for sustainable solutions makes the role of product specialist increasingly important. This requires deep technical knowledge of specific installations and their components. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of these developments, helping to design and commission modern, innovative systems.

How You Will Do It
Your main responsibilities as Electrical Project Engineer include:

• Designing the electrical layout of industrial refrigeration systems.
• Creating electrical schematics using Eplan Electric.
• Designing automation hardware configurations (primarily Siemens).
• Performing or assisting with I/O testing.
• Supporting commissioning activities on-site (projects vary in size and complexity, both domestically and internationally).
• Maintaining communication with clients and the Johnson Controls project team.
• Assisting the Sales department in preparing quotations for new projects.
• Supporting the Service department with troubleshooting, advising on upgrades or renovations, and preparing quotations for service projects.
• You will work within a project team led by a Project Manager.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• A completed HTS-E (Higher Technical School - Electrical Engineering) or equivalent education, or comparable experience in a related technical field.
• Technical experience in our industry is a plus.
• Experience with Siemens hardware is required.

Preferred:

• Experience with Eplan is a plus.
• Willingness to further develop in control technology.

• Proactive and customer-focused personality.
• Good command of the English language.
