Electrical Contracts Manager

Overview

Link Contracting is a fast growing maintenance and construction company. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Contracts Manager to join our award-winning team. Based at our Head Office in Wigan, you will be responsible for a team delivering projects and day to day maintenance throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring members of the office based and engineer regional teams.
• Ensure health and safety compliance is always maintained on sites and work locations including completing and issuing relevant RAMS where required.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
• Meet clients, assess work and produce quotations and deliver within budget.
• Taking reports and implementing procedural decisions to improve (KPIs and ways of working).
• Ensure the highest quality of service is being provided by our engineers and sub-contractors.
• Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.
• Validation of test certificates produced by engineers.
• The role is predominantly office based; however, occasional site visits will be required.
• Candidates must have an electrical background and a passion for customer service.

Qualifications

• 17th or 18th Edition wiring Regulations - Required
• C&G 2391 Test and inspection - Required
• ECS / CSCS Card - Required
• Full Driving Licence - Required
• Asbestos Awareness - Desirable
• IOSH - Desirable
• Basic IT Skills - Required

We are offering

• Permanent, full time contract
• Salary: Dependent on experience, ranging from £45,000.00-£53,000.00 per year.
• Benefits: Company Vehicle + fuel card (business use only)
• Hours: 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm
• Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays
• Contributory pension scheme
