Management Accountant Hybrid £40,000 Queensferry

Location: Queensferry
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid working, 2 days from home
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site organisation based in Anglesey. This role offers a blend of remote and office-based work, and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.
About the RoleAs a Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts down to division and branch level within tight deadlines
  • Allocate costs across multiple divisions and branches to ensure accurate cost centre reporting
  • Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process monthly journals including prepayments, accruals, stock and margin
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
  • Maintain accurate accounts records and spreadsheets
  • Respond to financial queries from across the business
  • Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior year performance, providing regular updates to management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
  • Take ownership of overhead costs, including monthly reviews with budget holders
  • Support other finance-related duties as required
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. While full training and development will be provided, the ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Experience in a large, multi-site organisation
  • Part-qualified or QBE
  • A self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
