Management Accountant

Working Pattern: Hybrid working, 2 days from home
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site organisation based in Anglesey. This role offers a blend of remote and office-based work, and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.
About the RoleAs a Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts down to division and branch level within tight deadlines
- Allocate costs across multiple divisions and branches to ensure accurate cost centre reporting
- Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations
- Process monthly journals including prepayments, accruals, stock and margin
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
- Maintain accurate accounts records and spreadsheets
- Respond to financial queries from across the business
- Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior year performance, providing regular updates to management
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
- Take ownership of overhead costs, including monthly reviews with budget holders
- Support other finance-related duties as required
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience in a large, multi-site organisation
- Part-qualified or QBE
- A self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
