Domestic Abuse Triage Volunteer 
Be the First Step to Safety
Victim Support is looking for empathetic volunteers to join our New Era team in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
As a Triage Volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for people seeking support.
Organisation: Victim Support Area of interest: Supporting Adults Number of Volunteers required: 10 Description:
What You'll Do- Provide calm, professional support during initial contact with service users
- Gather essential information and assess immediate needs
- Identify safeguarding concerns and elevate them appropriately
- Signpost and refer individuals to the right services
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times
Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent
CommitmentMinimum 4 hours per week
Ideally a commitment of 12 months
- Safeguarding
- Triage skills
- Specialist workshops
- Make a real difference in the lives of victims
- Gain valuable skills and experience in crisis support
- Be part of a supportive and passionate team
You will be required to have a DBS check which will be submitted by ourselves and you will be reimbursed with vehicle travel expenses.
