Domestic Abuse Triage Volunteer

Be the First Step to Safety
Victim Support is looking for empathetic volunteers to join our New Era team in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
As a Triage Volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for people seeking support.

Organisation: Victim Support Area of interest: Supporting Adults Number of Volunteers required: 10 Description:

What You'll Do
  • Provide calm, professional support during initial contact with service users
  • Gather essential information and assess immediate needs
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and elevate them appropriately
  • Signpost and refer individuals to the right services
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times
Location

Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent

Commitment

Minimum 4 hours per week
Ideally a commitment of 12 months
