The Development Centre Service Manager leads the operational delivery and ongoing development of a development centre service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The postholder is responsible for ensuring the service is safe, inclusive, person-centred and outcome-focused, promoting wellbeing, independence, community inclusion and meaningful opportunities for learning and development. The role combines day-to-day management with practice leadership, ensuring high-quality support, therapeutic and educational provision, and effective partnership working. In line with service plans and key performance indicators, the postholder also supports progression pathways into qualifications, volunteering, supported placements and, where appropriate, paid employment.
