Detective Constable Transferee vacancies

It is a requirement for Officers to reside within the Avon and Somerset Force area. If you are relocating from outside of the force area, you may be eligible for a relocation allowance of up to £8000.

As a Detective Constable you will be part of an Investigations team conducting proactive and reactive investigations into complex and serious crimes.

If you currently serve in a Home Office Police force and are looking to transfer to Avon and Somerset Police, we would like to hear from you.

You are eligible to transfer if you:

• are transferring from a Home Office Police force
• have successfully completed the full Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP) programme
• have successfully completed your probationary period and are working as an accredited detective

The salary you will be offered on appointment will be equivalent to your current salary.
