Location: Manchester (Salford)

Expectation: 1-2 days in office per week

Rate: £550 p/d Inside IR35

Inside IR35 Project Duration - 6 months initially

What you'll do

• Champion ways of working that drive focus, alignment, and performance.
• Run meaningful team rituals from stand-ups to retrospectives that foster reflection, learning, and inclusivity.
• Keep workflows running smoothly: track ownership, timelines, and dependencies, and proactively remove blockers.
• Maintain visibility into team health and delivery progress through clear metrics and reporting.
• Support leadership with OKRs and strategic alignment, helping the team focus where it matters most.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration across partner functions and external agencies when needed.

What you bring

• Experience in DesignOps, Programme Management, or Operations within product, design, or accessibility contexts.
• Proven ability to enable and scale high-performing teams through operational frameworks and rituals.
• Hands-on with work management and collaboration tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Miro, Figma, Slack, Confluence).
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills able to lead sessions, align stakeholders, and keep everyone on track.
• Skilled at managing multiple workstreams with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Bonus points for

• Experience with accessibility, inclusive design, or digital inclusion teams.
• Familiarity with agency/vendor management and accessibility standards (eg WCAG).
• Background in design thinking or UX.
