Design Office Manager

Location: Dublin

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the design office to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage allocation and scheduling of resources across multiple design projects.
  • Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and best practices to improve productivity.
  • Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to company standards and client expectations.
  • Lead and support the recruitment, training, and professional development of design staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, office expenses, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate communication and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures promptly.
Experience you need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in office management, preferably within a design, architecture, or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and design workflows.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with design software tools and project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
