Demand Planner

Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner in our team at Bellshill to actively engage with Distributor partners and WGS Markets to deliver a robust demand plan utilizing the S&OP framework. The role involves managing demand for renovation and innovation projects, minimizing obsolescence, and ensuring successful launches.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with Commercial teams and Markets to identify opportunities and mitigate forecast risks to meet business targets.
- Support and lead Demand Review meetings in key markets following the S&OP process.
- Analyze trends and seasonal profiles to advise teams on demand plan revisions.
- Ensure demand aligns with global allocations policies through regular reviews.
- Create and maintain an 18-month rolling demand forecast using statistical models and market data.
- Support innovation and renovation teams with realistic plans, minimizing obsolescence, and ensuring product availability.
- Develop relationships with third parties and ODCs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support operational performance and timely information sharing.
- Contribute to KPIs like inventory and obsolescence through active lifecycle management.
- Report on and influence MAPE and BIAS metrics at SKU, Market, and Regional levels.
- Maintain process documentation and governance structures.
- Develop depletion forecasts and manage forecasting database accuracy.
- Participate in team activities and problem-solving initiatives.
- Work collaboratively and apply training to improve performance.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Strategic thinker with demand planning or supply chain experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in statistical modeling and S&OP.
- Proven experience in demand forecasting, market trend analysis, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, expertise in MAPE and BIAS metrics, and advanced Excel and ERP skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for leading meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
- Data-driven decision-maker with stakeholder engagement abilities.
