Data Visualisation Analyst About the Role 
We are looking for a Data Visualisation Analyst to join a growing analytics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong Power BI expertise who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality dashboards, reports, and data models while working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop intuitive, high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business requirements into effective visualisations, measures, and reporting assets.
- Build, maintain, and optimise semantic models using best-practice modelling techniques.
- Develop and maintain DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
- Monitor and improve dashboard performance, usability, and reliability.
- Manage reporting security, access controls, and deployment processes.
- Support testing, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
- Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate, scalable, and user-focused reporting solutions.
- Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platforms.
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation and data validation.
- Good understanding of data modelling, reporting architecture, and BI best practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
